This is a custom board that runs the Psnee modchip firmware. Psnee runs on any old arduino nano but I wanted something super tiny that could be easily hidden inside the console. This is about 1/4 the size of a nano

Pics of the before and after from the retrobright. This PS1 was not horribly yellowed compared to many of the systems I see but you can clearly tell a difference! Also the shell cleaning and the before/after on the modchip wiring!

It really depends on what console you're trying to mod, the PS3 and Wii are super easy. I've been wanting to mod an OG Xbox but the softmods seem like a PITA especially since you need an old flashdrive and it has be a specific kind. Cuz of that I might just get one that has a modchip preinstalled

Hacking a Switch is about 1,000 times hadrer than hacking a 3DS.
If you bought it after 2018, you need to hire a professional to install a modchip in it.

it is an ALX2+ modchip and is still functional! we thought it was broken but after digging for documentation, apparently you have to hold down the power button to launch its custom bios

More progress on the OG Xbox - getting ready to do some hacking for a hard drive key so I can copy old saved games over to new drive. Gotta fish the modchip outta my other console.

I do! this is a mod I came up with to relocate the status LED of the modchip to the location of the (nearly) unused home button LED on the switch lite, so the home button ring lights up with the status of the glitching process on boot. gbatemp.net/data/video/3...
