He leído un blog sobre MicroOS (una distro inmutable) y sobre Podman Quadlets y me interesa bastante.
El hecho de poder definir pods con la misma sintaxis que la de systemd mola bastante. Si saco un rato lo probaré y como me guste lo mismo cambio el server por este combo 👀

Tengo el pensamiento intrusivo de quitar Proxmox de mi homelab y usar MicroOS y Podman. No debería porque ahora mismo funciona todo bien pero y si...?

Reduciría la complejidad al mínimo (y lo actualizaría más, que me da miedo actualizar versiones grandes de cualquier cosa)

Yeah OpenSUSE is its own thing, not based on any other distro. It uses rpm putting it in a different sort of ecosystem from Arch and Debian. OpenSUSE has several flavours. Tumbleweed is a rolling release like Arch. Leap is more like a regular release. MicroOS for containers. Aeon is a thing, too.

There are also Linux distros that have a radically different approach. Imutable and Atomic distros.

In short, all the base image upgrades at once.

The previous image is kept, so reverting is possible

On top containerized apps

Examples: SteamOS, Fedora Silverblue, VanillaOS, MicroOS and more

Odd. On #suse #microos my #podman #containers suddenly aren't able to reach the internet anymore.

When checking the routes with `podman unshare --rootless-netns ip r s` i'm also missing everything except the local podman network.
