MessageQueue, being a queue, is also ordered. I'm not very familiar with how it is implemented, but at a glance new messages are added to the end of the buffer. So it's safe to assume that the order in memory is the order of execution/resolution.

It should be the order of connections, and that seems to work reliably. Deferred calls are left for the next frame (or rather the next time MessageQueue is flushed), should also keep the order.

Just to confirm, I double checked, and connections are stored in a hashmap, by attached callable. Godot hashmaps, by implementation, are doubly-linked lists, so the iteration order is baked in.

When a signal is resolved, all connections are iterated, with deferred ones passed to MessageQueue.
