Gestern Abend wurde es spät bei der Aufzeichnung von #OSINTStudio. Matthias und ich folgten einer Spur ins Handelsregister – und stellten uns die Frage: Ist Maltego wirklich ein deutsches OSINT-Tool? 🤔

What's bothering me is what you might call think tank churn where new ones pop up to push the same disinfo. I suppose you could track similar writing with Maltego or something similar?

Starting to focus on #OSINT in my current role. I’ve used Maltego in the past, but it seems like Obsidian is becoming popular (I already use it for notes). This article isn’t new but had some good insights: https://webbreacher.com/2022/03/15/obsidian/

Image forensics, geolocation, network mapping: are great starting points to begin your research. Cross-referencing sources and using tools like Maltego or the Wayback Machine can connect the dots. Time and dedication! Lots of great anti-fascist researchers spend hours a day on things like this.

Disruptive tip:
Disrupt their organizing.
Deplatform Nazis by reporting accounts violating platform rules. Collaborate with ethical hackers to expose their networks. OSINT tools like Maltego (maltego.com) can map their activities legally.
