No Kirra #parkrun photographer yday but I got proof of life at my 100th Aus course (112th ov'all)Cold wet morn, magicalview to Burleigh w sand spray, tho avfuel smell from airport. 2km to Bilinga SC,back 2 start & 500m to Kirra SC.I ran over the line they said “23.59” first sub 24 of the year just!
I interrupted conversation of 3 young ladies to ask if I could “borrow a photographer”. One gladly volunteered and took this photo of me in the Kirra frame. Then she asked me to return the compliment and I did, taking a photo of the trio in the frame. Top half of a rainbow (the rain?) at entrance to Tweed Heads. I'm awarding it appropriately to the Qld border suburb of Rainbow Bay. Gold Coast is indeed a surfer's paradise though not all places are as friendly to cyclists as this path between Currumbin and Coolangatta Lovely if moody sunrise view at Kirra beach
