アップデートした！寝起きに触る。ウィジェットの常駐と、非アクティブ時にガラス調にグレーアウトして目立たなくなるのは面白い。コントロールセンター周りもスイッチが増えてた。キーボードの照度設定もあったので追加。好みでないのは、Finderの、外観の一般項目にある強調カラーによって、フォルダの基本色が変わり、更にラベルでも色が変わる。MacOS9 みたいな印象。あと、メニューのコマンドが並ぶ文字の頭にピクトグラムが並ぶようになった。やたら可愛い。

多分Appleはそんな事考えてないと思いますよ。PowerPCに変えた時〜MacOS9のジョブズが帰ってくる前まではまだ後方互換を考えて長らく対応してましたけどジョブズ体制以降、出来ることを数年でバッサリ切ることに美学を感じてる節さえあります。10.6→10.7でPowerPCバイナリをいきなり切ったりとか。10.6で OSはIntel専用になってPowerPC終焉ではあったけど切るのが早すぎるんですよね。何のためにRosettaを作ったのよと。

Yes! Finally got #AIM ( #ATProto Instant Messenger) deployed to ATProto.im 😅
Some kinks to work out on the mobile styles. Rough but it all works.
Same polling mechanism as Bluesky currently uses. Have some improvements in mind, but it'll have to poll to support bsky chat users on the other end.

たまにSheepShaverでMacOS9を動かしてハイパーカードを動かしていますが、欲を出してApple Worksをインストールしてみました。
あっさりと普通に動いてくれました。
Apple Worksは今のPagesにあたりますが、使いやすさはApple Worksに軍配が上がります。表計算だけでなく、データベース機能もあったことも思い出しました。
ミニマムで多機能なソフトありませんかね。

過去のパッケージデータの支給がすんげえ増えててね。MacOS9時代のだから今のOSで読み込むの大変なんじゃよ。拡張子つけてないし。
