I beat Mouthwashing last night. Really cool ending and a bunch of creepy moments. I think it juggled tonal shifts pretty well.

not to ramble but i think this also solidifies why watching mouthwashing get the fandom blorbo treatment felt so strange- some characters OC-ify easier than others and the characters from that game are so dependent on the context of their brief & contained story that trying to extract them

I almost want to say that if we could get a game with some of the same levels of artistic and or writing depth as Mouthwashing/Signalis/Slay the Princess/1000xRESIST, but be as long as New Vegas, that may genuinely be the best videogame of all time
