Talking to roomies, one mentioned that our household would end up homeless during a gov't shutdown if social security were cut off because of the struggle to find work. Sometimes you need to let some bills slide for a while. I was often able to hold off paying on my electric bill thanks to having LIHEAP support and strategically using shutdown moritoriums in my area. Apply for LIHEAP. Then get on the payment plan from there.

It's a dogshit argument, but Harris's flip flop on fracking has an easy answer. Solar adoption has overperformed consistently. You could argue that as a result the calculus on the need for carbon moritoriums has changed and that fracking is the "obvious economic choice" to be the beneficiary of that
