(Not my photo but used with permission). I’m in the front seat flying the glider. #Gliding with #MidlandGlidingClub over #LongMynd in #Shropshire. In a thermal climbing at approximately 900 feet per minute, which is pretty good in the UK without an engine. 14th July 2025

The sun was already low at noon, when popped out for a scramble about the Long Mynd hills today. The rain that much of the UK is getting somehow missed our bit of the West Midlands, so much so that it actually got quite warm! I even saw a peacock #shropshirehills #longmynd #peacockbutterfly
