Thank you for the artshare, Rosie - sorry I'm a bit late! (Timezone differences + my internet acting strange...) Anyway, hello, I'm Butterfly! 😊I tend to focus on doing fanart mostly of video games but I'm going to branch out to work on ocs too. Here's two recent ones and two older favorite ones 💖

(May 2025) Fan illustration of the Powerpuff Girl's drawn in an anime style but based a little bit on their appearance in the original cartoon rather than the PPGZ anime.

A drawing that I did for Linktober2024 (Day5: Sacred) featuring the Triforce and the Golden Goddesses. I decided to go with combining elements of the Goddesses' from their 'mortal' appearances from the Oracle games, their statues from WindWaker and a reference from Ocarina of Time with the Spiritual Stones. I really loved doing this piece and I am going to make a digital version of it! :D But I might actually redraw it (since I'm going to have to correct their anatomy anyway) and add a few things that I think would look cool...<3

A sketch I did around 2022 of a Toon-style (think TLOZ: Wind Waker/Minish Cap) version of 'Classic' Princess Zelda as she appeared in the first The Legend of Zelda game! It was a redraw of a previous attempt of mine.

A drawing that I did for Linktober2024 (Day6: Fear/Horror) featuring the fearsome creature known as...the REMLIT. Actually, when I first played Skyward Sword I had a feeling that they would turn into demonic creatures at night and I don't know why...but anyway, I decided to go with the Remlit simply because I didn't want to draw redeads or floor/wall masters... or a joke piece about the Yiga Clan and bananas or something. As a pet owner too, I believe that there is nothing more horrifying than leaving something lying around, only for your beloved pet to destroy it...in this case the Tingle doll, which isn't actually a jab towards Tingle. This is just the imaginary prelude/situation which probably caused Mia to be put outside at night... I mean could you imagine poor Zelda (or whoever) walking into the room and coming across this scene? Scary... D':

A drawing done for Linktober (Day9: Secret/Mystery) featuring Farore from the Oracle games with a book, two dolls of Din and Nayru, and a secret shell....although I think the biggest mystery is in this post itself....what happened to the other days? Who knows...? Who can say...? (Just kidding, I actually explained this on my part 1 post, but I was aiming to do at least 'half' the prompts for Linktober for the first year, but unfortunately even then real life stuff struck...hm...Anyway, I'm still proud of what I managed to do! <3)

This is the final drawing that I managed to do for Linktober2024 (Day11: Music/Dance) featuring Nayru playing her harp and singing, and Din dancing from the Oracle games. As mentioned before ((but seeing as I don't know what you are clicking on and whether or not you're reading the alt text, I'll just say it again)), I was only aiming to do half the prompts for this year, but other stuff sorta got in the way of me doing even that! Still, I'm quite happy with what I managed to draw, and I am aiming to turn a lot of these into digital pieces at some point, and/or redrawing them. I was also planning on finishing the 2024 version at some point, but I might leave that now until AFTER Linktober2025 is done :) Anyway, thanks for looking/reading! <3

A drawing that I did for Linktober2024 (Day1: Mirror), featuring Purah from Breath of the Wild (child version) and Tears of The Kingdom (adult version - reflected.) I thought that it just might be cool to draw Purah deep in research about something (y'know probably normal), but instead of drawing the reflection of her child self, its her adult version. Someday I might get around to cleaning this up and making a proper digital version (this is just the traditional sketch with colour added digitally :) )

This is a drawing that I did for Linktober2024 (Day2: Friend/Companion) and features Riju and Patricia :) Although it was only after adding the colour digitally, I realized how I probably should have drawn Patricia at a different angle and made her a bit bigger...but oh well! :'D

A drawing that I did for Linktober 2024 (Day3: Zelda) featuring Toon Princess Zelda! Unfortunately, because I was only aiming for doing around half of the prompts for Linktober, and IRL struck, I never got around to finishing Link's or doing Ganondorfs versions seeing as I was going to do all their 'Toon' versions ; w ; but maybe someday...Still, proud of managing to pull off a 'soft colour feel' to this.

A drawing that I did for Linktober2024 (Day4: Night/Dark) featuring a Blupee and some other things from Breath of the Wild that glow at night since the prompt was night/dark; I also just happened to be playing the game at the time when it /was/ night and a Blupee just happened to be there....and that's what I decided I wanted to draw! :'D idk. *shrug*

Die Feen sind immer ein besonderes Highlight für mich. Und am meisten mag ich die Feenkönigin aus #WindWaker.
Übe noch richtig mit Gouache zu malen.

Als ich die Karte gezeichnet habe hat mein Freund mir über die Schulter geschaut und versucht zu erraten aus welchen Spiel die jeweiligen Link sind. Hab ihm dann einen Vortrag gehalten wie jeder Link aussieht. Hatte ein bisschen was von dem Typ mit dem Whiteboard.
