i don't absolutely hate the spilt architecture for prowlarr being separate from radarr, sonarr, and lidarr but like... that's only a thing due to how it's separated into 3 different services that do essentially the exact same thing anyways. the code for sonarr and radarr are probably 99% similar lol

I have a couple of albums in my music collection that I've properly tagged and embedded correct album art into, but they keep spontaneously reverting to the old (incorrect) album art. 🤔

While the UI is quite dated, it works and all the different relations and additions you can make is quite astonishing.

I finally got Lidarr working correctly so I'm going to give self-hosting my music collection another shot. Using Symfonium as a mobile client for Plexamp, and buying my favorite music from Bandcamp.

It's just a low priority for me in terms of subs but that most recent switch to their payout structure is making me check in on Lidarr again and seeing if I can automate rips for my bandcamp profile lol

I just made a @jellyfin.org media server automatic install script. It installs the apps you want (jellyfin, plex, sonarr, radarr, lidarr, prowlarr, jackett, plex, etc.), sets permissions and users automatically, and guides you step-by-step to configure the server. Check it out!

It is so incredibly easy to get nearly anything you want for free in the year of our Lord 2025. Usenet still exists. Bittorrent still exists and VPNs are cheap. The DHT is expensive. Radarr, Sonarr, and Lidarr are incredible.

I've been really liking navidrome. Easy to set up, and generally pretty good. Needs beets or lidarr (?) or other library management, though
feishin is a good desktop client & symfonium is a great android client - I mostly just shuffle the d&b or jungle genres if im honest though

pra música eu posso falar "baixa tudo do artista x" e dai quando sai coisa nova o lidarr vai sozinho procurar onde baixar, arrumar todas as tags idv3, nomear os arquivos bonitinho e me avisar no discord que tem coisa nova pra eu ouvir
