These fall under CFTC regs so Kalshi is supposed to report every trade to the CFTC. Additionally AML/KYC is performed to identify and screen traders.
That said, my personal experience with fintech AML/KYC (but not Kalshi) is such that I would not enter into any contracts on Kalshi.

There's an expectation among people I've talked to/heard from that the CFTC will start filing amicus briefs in cases where state regulators are fighting with Kalshi (and others) about sports events contracts.
What difference will it make? That's another question.

This would be a great question for CFTC to ask, since they technically "regulate" them. Reminder than DJT Jr. is a strategic advisor to Kalshi and is on the board of rival Polymarket, while Crypto dot com manages events markets for Truth Social. So excited to see political markets on CNN again!
