Korean Fried Chicken Poutine

I was craving something indulgent like this but we are in a bit of a post Christmas health kick, so instead I decided to make a somewhat healthier take on fried chicken poutine.
A plate of Korean Fried Chicken Poutine made with thick-cut chips smothered in creamy gravy, topped with pieces of golden air-fried chicken coated in crushed corn flakes. The dish is garnished with sliced spring onions, red chilli, a drizzle of Korean-style barbecue sauce, and crumbled white cheese.

Hopeless Metz! So it’s okay for Putin to employ North Korean troops, but it’s a no-no for the democratic European nations send theirs into the nation that’s been invaded. Just send in air defence units and fighter jets to defend Ukraine’s cities and vital infrastructure. Do it. Now.

At least 23 US POWs refused to return after the Korean war.

The US was so terrified of this it invented the propaganda concept of "Brainwashing" to explain why these soldiers had become communists.
The earliest known English-language usage of the word "brainwashing" in an article by a journalist Edward Hunter, in Miami News, published in 1950. Hunter was an anticommunist and worked for the CIA. Hunter and others used the Chinese term to explain why, during the Korean War (1950-1953), some American prisoners of war (POWs) cooperated with their Chinese captors, and even in a few cases defected to their side. British radio operator Robert W. Ford and British army Colonel James Carne also claimed that the Chinese subjected them to brainwashing techniques during their imprisonment. The U.S. military and government laid charges of brainwashing in an effort to undermine confessions made by POWs to war crimes, including biological warfare. After Chinese radio broadcasts claimed to quote Frank Schwable, Chief of Staff of the First Marine Air Wing admitting to participating in germ warfare, United Nations commander General Mark W. Clark asserted: “Whether these statements ever passed the lips of these unfortunate men is doubtful. If they did, however, too familiar are the mind-annihilating methods of these Communists in extorting whatever words they want... As I think about it, it actually aligns pretty well with what I’ve already been thinking about visiting the royal palaces in Seoul this week. I think there’s a lot of potential for a kind of open air dungeon in the layout of a Korean palace that I want to poke at this year.
