they also make prophetic commentary on the rise of AI, and are like...really interesting on how they talk about gender dynamics and the way toxic male posturing hurts everyone involved. it kind of discusses stuff like SDF a lot, and makes myung the main core over isamu and guld's bum asses

this may be why i'm such a huge plus hater bc when i watched it my thought process was "oh they don't realize guld and isamu are both horrible people actually" esp since isamu realllly felt like a character they wanted you to be endeared to with his "2 kool 4 skool" free spirited attitude lol.

this scene does feel rather out of place in the rest of the ova, esp since like...isamu wasn't this exuberant before? it feels like it's done just to fit into kawamori's sensibilities and show him as The Good Boy Option which like...idk, i wouldn't have him humanized this far lmao
