I plan to develop the game for both PC and Dreamcast using my custom Kitsunemimi engine. Same as I’ve used in eg. The Inochi2D comiket project.

Given one of the forks of Inochi2D seems to he heavily investing in AI/LLM integration, just going to put it on the record that Inochi2D itself will never feature such things.
I think the current wave of LLMs and GenAI is counter to the creative process; and I make software for people.

i'm using inochi2d which is technically free, only issue is that there's not much documentation so it's either video tutorials or discord server (both of which I hate using for tech support)

I almost gave up on Inochi2D because I didn't like the mouth rig I did.
I came back to it today and cleaned up the rig, now I think it's alright.
Lesson Learned: If I ever find myself getting increasingly frustrated with a program, I probably just need to take a break and come back to it later.

Currently digging around in Inochi2D and while I'm super glad to have a free alternative to Live2D; The bugs and lack of some QOL features makes it a steep battle.... Regardless- I am a stubborn fool and my broke ass motivates me like nothing else 🔥💪
