Draft Programme of Work (PoW) for #IGWG4 apps.who.int/gb/IGWG/pdf_... The public sessions will take place next Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 16:45 to 17:15 CET. The extended session with relevant stakeholders (not public) will take place next Wednesday from 11:30 to 13:00 CET. @who.int

6️⃣ The timeline to negotiate a final #PABS Annex by #WHA79 in May 2026 is tight: It is essential that Member States get to work on the stickiest issues to drive progress. The next negotiation session #IGWG4 will be Dec. 1-5.

📜Before closing, the IGWG approved the meeting report and next steps.

There will be an informal meeting of States and Experts on 6-10 October. Stakeholder engagement TBD.

Actual negotiations will only begin later this year (IGWG3 on 3-7 November & IGWG4 on 1-5 December).

9️⃣ The #IGWG will convene intersessional dialogues open to Member States and relevant stakeholders. The format, topics, and schedule will be announced soon. The Bureau also committed to explore new ways to strengthen stakeholder engagement ahead of #IGWG4 (Dec. 2-5).
