I put off buying one for a long time. Now I'm catching up on workshop organization - gridfinity in every toolbox. I have 9 done, three plus a drawer to go. And along the way I printed a bunch of rugged boxes. And a bunch of Atari 2600 stuff. And some printer mods.

I just uploaded the new v3 #gridfinity 20 bin case design to #makerworld. The updated design is slimmer, and trims about 14% off the material requirement for a 6U tall case, compared with the v2.3 case. You can find it at the link below:

The most valuable for me, which basically paid for the printer, was new lampshades around the house to replace builder grade stuff that came with the flip. $4 in filament transformed ugly lights to custom pretty lights.

I considered using gridfinity for my makeup draw inserts.
But I don't think I want to print a grid to stick them on. Seems too much.
Instead I am just going to put dove tail rails on each side so they slot together

i was really tempted to use Gridfinity for this, and maybe i still will in the future. but designing and printing everything for even a single drawer is a significant time investment and right now i just wanted to get my cables in
