What this means for track & field:
✅ Proof of concept: Fans showed up, athletes delivered
✅ Media partnerships secured (CW, NBC/Peacock)
❌ Financial model is unsustainable
❌ Trust severely damaged

Another spicy Slam! 🌶️

The @grandslamtrack short sprints battles continue, but at the moment it’s a battle for second as no one can touch Kenny Bednarek, who’s a perfect 6-for-6 as he racks up another 24 point victory and $100,000 payday.

UNDEFEATED 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇

Kenny Bednarek isn’t just the @grandslamtrack Short Sprints champion- he’s also six for six in races so far this year, winning every time he sets foot on the start line.

WHAT DID WE JUST WATCH 🤯

Melissa Jefferson-Wooden doesn’t just win the @grandslamtrack short sprints 100m— she OBLITERATES the competition and the world lead with a 10.73 win.

That moves her up into the top ten ALL TIME — in cool, breezy conditions in Philadelphia to boot.

DRAMA EVERY STEP OF THE WAY 😳

The lead wouldn’t stop changing in the last lap of the @grandslamtrack short distance 1500m, but after a big push from Marco Arop it’s Josh Kerr who outduels Cole Hocker to cross the finish line first as Kerr and Hocker both clock season’s bests of 3:34.44 and 3:34.51.

🇨🇦MARCO AROP IS THE SLAM CHAMPION

Another brilliant race by Canada’s Marco Arop who runs a gutsy 1500m, finishes fourth — and wins the @GrandSlamTrack because of his 800m win yesterday.

A great moment for Marco who pushed the pack and ran courageously to win the Philly Slam.
