Trumpism. Give regular people less, but trick them into thinking it’s good. Tax cuts for corps & benefits cuts for dirty, lazy, unworthy poor people. Americans are easily tricked. Democrats work to make life more prosperous & freer. No tricks. Just the hard work of public service & governance.

actually, no lie, I think using a pen is a great idea.
you just have to accept whatever you put down. no need to worry about making perfect lines. no need to think about erasing.

Solar power is the most futuristic technology that exists, and the fact that it is so plentiful that it makes our lives cheaper and freer as a result is amazing. We need more solar rollout wherever possible

You don't have a "but it's true; here's the proof to back it up" defence there against being sued? Unfortunately though we can also be sued for defamation. Our right to free speech is broader in notion than reality. The more lawyers you can afford the freer your speech, the easier to curtail others

All I can say is that there are much freer places in the world than the US. I ended up in NZ 25 years ago and have lived here half my life now. This and Australia would be familiar in unfamiliar ways if that makes sense.One of these days I’ll make it to see someplace not..

On the other hand, life in the European Soviet satellites has vastly improved: people are so much better off (richer, freer) by 1995 or in 2025 than they were in 1975.
