Thank you. The New York Times ran the same piece dated September 19, 1985 by Herbert Mitgang. Recently, I read his 200 Italian folktales and enjoyed it immensely.

Did you buy one of each? Faced with a similar display once, I ended up with a book of sea myths & folktales, one about sloops of the Hudson River, and a Joseph Conrad collection of sea stories.

Anywho sorry for blowing up your comments! Haha! If I remember any other folktales I'll tell you. I know of a few forest spirit myths and other critters but I totally forget the story behind them. Wish I had paid more attention as a kid lol

It was either
1. Existential crisis
2. That mitigating Simba-Scar kinda dynamic (also insanely painful).. like harmful power dynamics. Apparantly the story was a mix of African Folktales & also Hamlet.

It was one of two.
Both unbelievably difficult.

i like UXM, but i also basically treat it as entirely unrelated to the ultimate universe for the most part. it's kind of just momoko doing a different x-men reinvention except this time as a shonen manga instead of folktales like demon days was.

vs. an older North Indian style - again, time capsuled a bit too, keep in mind.

Cuz I hate the fact the accents can be judged in a negative light, that's beautiful in a country with 22 languages and infinite breadth/diversity through all of that space with: food, language, folktales/folklore -

In college I studied folklore (world folktales especially), but I started a family while in my early 20s and never pursued it as a career.
When I reentered the workforce, I stumbled into science communication w/ museums.

My main project at work right now is writing a fairytale-themed science show!😁

According to Flemish folktales, witches cursed people by filling their pillows with different kinds of roses. In one of these tales, they attempted to burn the pillow in a field but neither the fabric of the pillow nor the roses would burn.
