I'm messing around with Lutris as a frontend and found that DC games wouldn't launch straight to Flycast properly. Long story short I looked at the logs and then had to find the file and line of python code that handled loading ISOs and edit out some arguments to fix it.

I am not a programmer.

just learned daytona usa on dreamcast has a functioning fanserver that you can connect to via an emulator like flycast. unfortunately the only person i was able to test it with wasn't able to connect properly but the fact that playing daytona online is within my reach is SO exciting.

I’ve used flycast but a lot of models in Sonic Adventure were fucked up (more than normal I mean) but it’s been a few years since I’ve messed around with it.

For streamers, you can have Flycast Dojo export game details like game name, player names, and current score to an "out" directory, now separated by numbered session folders.

You can run multiple instances of the emulator with unique files for each open session.
Settings: Output Session Details to Text Files, Multiple Sessions Output directory with individual files for game name, player names, and score.
