262/422 Finchley Road: Jubilee/ Metropolitan Line. It took me way longer than it should have done to realise that Finchley Road and actual Finchley were different places. Actual Finchley is loads better. The North Star on the high street is ok though and has a fire!! Half cider = £2.75 Rating 3/5

Last night Barnet Greens covered 3 streets & knocked on almost 90 doors. Shoutout to Zahra, our canvassing coordinator in training, Fanxi, our community organiser in training, Ben, Andrew, George & Jack who door knocked for the 1st time with us inspired by last week’s meeting.

Odd thing about this is that I've stayed in a couple of Highgate airbnbs a few times over the last couple of years and none of their owners even mentioned this place when recommending restaurants in the area. Once I ended up going to East Finchley for Italian food

Groovy tunes; or is it groovy tubes? Record sleeve to a 1967 single by the New Vaudeville Band "Finchley Central" using Johnston typeface, station roundel & Underground diagram with LT's permission. Even the arrow is the correct one for the "You are Here" poster!
