Scrapped idea where I made katsuya and atsuko (endou's ma) have beef with kidou's dad for his connection with kageyama but i didnt know where to go from there so it's gone in the story now

Masa: /reassured sigh as he pats yuuto's shoulder/ I'm relieved. /faces the rest of the people in the hallway then straightens himself/ Where are my manners? /bows at everyone on their side by the chairs then at Katsuya on the opposite/ Kidou Masayoshi of the Kidou Zai– Kats: /hostile/ I'm well aware who you are. Masa: /finds that very rude but chooses to keep his composure instead/ It is very nice to meet you as well– Kats: The man who harboured Kageyama Reiji for the past few years. Hard to forget. Tension weighs heavy in the hallway; despite the opened windows, every single person feels the scarcity of the air as if confined in a small dark room against their will functioning only under the wish to see the light from the sun again. Endou feels his mother's hold on him tighten at the mention of the name. Without looking he can tell that Atsuko is keeping her sharp gaze on the older Kidou. His best friend's stature and gait stiffen as he watches the two unmoving adults as if he's a few seconds away from jumping between them. Endou follows the direction that his goggles point at; the stationary Hakamada by Kidou's father's side who seems hypervigilant for the first time in their presence. Masa: It was never my intention to enable his crimes. Or to be his backing. But I admit that it is entirely on myself to have trusted him so blindly. Not only with a portion of my influence but also with my son. Kageyama-san would not have been able to get as far as he did if not for… /pauses for a while/ But those ties are far gone after he harmed Yuuto. Kats: /unamused and clenches his jaw/ Continuation: Masa: It’s not entirely fair to blame me for everything he did… nor to think of him entirely as only his crimes. They were unforgivable and irreversible. And yet, in his last days alive, he was able to aid the arrest of a bigger criminal. Miracle as could it have been, it turns out that Kageyama-san changed before he took his last breath– Kats: My seven year old daughter spent the entirety of two years ago in a hospital bed. In a coma. Kats: Because he deemed my son a threat, this “changed” man you speak of ordered for her to be run over by a truck. While he was still working for you. Masa: I must apologize– Kats: Which if you heard about, you wouldn't have supported, if I'm understanding your excuse. Masa: … Kats: Then, wash your hands of it as much as you need. But I won't let you say the same of this incident. Kats: My son, and hers, were almost run over by a truck bigger than them both. Because of your name. Asuko stands up; she keeps strict hands on her son's shoulders, pushing him down to stay in his seat. Masa: I'll cover the expenses. Kats: There’s nothing to cover. /the doctor seethes as the ends of his gown follows the miniscule motions of his frame/ There’s no favor that my family needs from you. /shaking/ It is within my right to know the names of those people. And what my son was made collateral of. Asu: And what my son almost was. /Masayoshi looks at her and Mamoru with apologetic eyes/ Yuu: /stands/ If, if you please let me– Kats: /dismisses Yuuto, faces Masayoshi/ Or are you going to deflect responsibility for this one as well? Now to your son? Yuu: /weakly/ He doesn't, it's not his– /hakamada holds his arm out to stop yuuto/ Masa: The doctor is right. /looks down/ This isn't a matter that only concerns me and my son. /then look at the adults determined/ I promise to find them… and their intentions be made transparent to you.
