Shrove Tuesday is a tradition in which people use up dairy and rich foods in preparation of lent. I’ve never observed this ritual fast, but I will be using it as an excuse to eat a bunch of food and clear out my cupboards before moving house. Just as Ælric of Eynsham intended

One of our long-standing Village Hall 'tenants' is the marvellous Bartholomew Players, now in their 51st year, with the last 25 having been spent treading the boards at the Hall! See them in action in May in the Agatha Christie classic. More details here: eynsham-pc.gov.uk/org-news.asp...

A new #VillageSign has just gone up in #NorthLeigh, #Oxfordshire. Guess who designed it?!

I wish we had one in #Eynsham!

#PublicArt is important - it fosters a sense of belonging & identity in a place & it’s one of the few cultural experiences we all participate in, whether we plan to or not.
