He and Elmer get up at 4 a.m. to get the chores done before Elmer starts work at 6 a.m. Monday through Thursday. He works until 4:30, then faces another round of chores when he gets home.

While Ithaca Gun was closed, Elmer played trumpet for the Binghamton Symphony Orchestra and the Tri-Cities Opera. But now that he's back at work he doesn't have much time for playing, either.

Elmer grew some oats, which he wants to roll to make oatmeal. and they raised some field corn for their animals.

I've been doing some historical research lately, and came across this old profile of my family from 1979, which was six years before I was born.
My mother was basically the OG tradwife, except without money, and boy, did my parents make it sound a lot more idyllic than it actually was.

But that's the thing about this franchise, Freddy didn't become the 80s icon he was by being this super serious monster. He was basically a demented Loony Tunes character, Bugs Bunny if he took his feud with Elmer Fudd way too serious. I know fans like to ignore that, but Dream Warriors is the best
