Morecambe Library is an architectural statement with its octagonal sides and timber lined ceilings, the result is an open and light space with lots of functionality. Friday night in the Winter Garden, an old theatre undergoing restoration as a community asset. They need to work on the sound a bit as i found the speaker volume to be just a bit too low where i was sitting. Im sure that eventually they will have a surround system in there with lots of little speakers rather than two stacks on the stage… classic monument to our Eric (wipes tear from under spex). In tbe background is the The kings Arms where another venue was hosting poetry events…
