We've been exploring how ESG metrics are presented and communicated, showing triangle with 3 levels; on top scores, secondly reports, lastly metrics - with scale on side that says 'simplified' and a bottom 'granular' We placed the top priority info (first, so it's visible at a glance. 2nd priority: it should be clear that this a small multiples chart, and we should be able to quickly establish the biggest contributors. 3rd priority: we should be able to see the scope data, not just read it. We included scope breakdown within the bars themselves and labelled selectively to prioritise the biggest contributors.
