昨晩、レモン彗星観測の片手間にスマート望遠鏡『DWARF3』で撮影したアンドロメダ銀河M31です。
銀河系から約250万光年の距離に位置し、肉眼で観測できる最も遠方の天体のひとつです。
(スマホから天体を指定すると天体が勝手に導入され、そのまま10分くらい待つとこの画像が出てきてビビりました)

Took advantage of a clear sky and a warm evening to get a stack of pictures of Andromeda with the borrowed DwarfLab 2. It's better than my previous attempt. A lot less gear to drag into the park too. Possibly another distant galaxy at top centre?

The Beaver Super Moon, shot this morning using my Dwarf 2, 1000 images at 1/1000 exposure, 20 gain, IR Cut, color corrected in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.

Tested the #Dwarflab 3 small #robotic telescope today for #solar #photography. It worked like a charm. Attach magnetic solar filter, goto sun, activate solar tracking, make 30s video and stack with Autostakkert4!, postprocessing in Adobe Photoshop. Result at left.

I was able to (somewhat) salvage this shot of M31 from Friday night. I didn’t have it set in EQ mode and had a 60s exposure time, so there was some cleaning up to do. Still, nice to see what the #Dwarf3 can do from my back yard.

I was able to (somewhat) salvage this shot of M31 from Friday night. I didn’t have it set in EQ mode and had a 60s exposure time, so there was some cleaning up to do. Still, nice to see what the #Dwarf3 can do from my back yard.

I managed to brave the freezing temperatures the other night and take a photograph of The Rosette Nebula. It's nice that the wider sensor on the DwarfLab Dwarf 3 is able to capture the whole thing without cropping. I didn't get as much integration time as I would have liked, but I'm ok with it ^_^
