I have a generally positive view of Larian games. Like mechanically they are really great turn based combat focused rpgs, but their writing just always ends up feeling sort of half baked. DOS2 had a lot of these same issues as well

Oh yeah, the undead option in DoS2 is awesome, but it is a pretty different type of undead from the ones in WoW so it's not super great for the purpose of recreating those specifically

They're similar in a LOT of ways tbh, beyond sharing physical features! DOS2 was my first real video game, & I went straight from that to trying out Dragon Age, starting with DAI. Went right from romancing Ifan to meeting Blackwall; naturally it was love at first sight, & only got better from there.

They're similar in a LOT of ways tbh, beyond sharing physical features! DOS2 was my first real video game, & I went straight from that to trying out Dragon Age, starting with DAI. Went right from romancing Ifan to meeting Blackwall; naturally it was love at first sight, & only got better from there.
It was on sale for $7. But i might just replay dos2 or pick up my last bg3 run

Eventually the bad WoL avatar made me SO mad I had to restart with a whole new character more suited to the graphics of the game. We're in Arx now and DOS2 might've just surpassed BG3 as my new favourite

Honestly, I thought the reactions in game were generally very tame, so when I heard people complaining about how poorly drow were treated I was just like ??? 😂
Would've been interesting with a mechanic like in DOS2 with unmasked undead making things difficult!

BG3 and CBP77 are not indie games in my opinion, because the teams were pretty big and doing good financially by the time after making DOS2 and TW3, but that's just personal opinion and semantics.

tbh I have beef with Larian for disabling achievements due to mods. they did it with DOS2 as well yet promoted mods which enabled them again.
Just doing this to make my life difficult then? I don't care if some people cheat to get a badge, I don't want mine blocked due to wanting dyes.
