DesTestKernal - a version of DesTest that you can program onto an appropriate PROM as a replacement for the C64 kernal ROM. When cartridges fail you, this little beauty might just get the job done!

After watching Adrian’s latest video on youtube, I got so excited, that I got up at 11:30pm and have built myself a versa64cart with the new #DesTestMax. This is a dead test replacement and the hottest C64 stuff, that I have seen in a long time.

With great help from others on a C64 group I got a working process to run DesTestMax S/L (swiftlink version with terminal output) from my 1541 Ultimatte ii+ cart.

A little fiddly and relies on running DTMSL once before opening a terminal for the signal and once after or you miss initial tests.
2 Putty terminal windows. One shows the Ultlimatte ii+ menu and the other shows output from DesTestMax S/L testing the C64 hardware.
