I understand, but this introduces also a lot extra things which could cause issue on a datamodel with a lots of tables and one to "very" many or "very" many to "very" many. Isn't it?

well, since file uploads are now a thing that this app can do, the next stages are:
- make hardcoded icons load dynamically from server
- last two datamodel changes
- test and fix inheritance and damaged nodes functionality
- finalize cosmetic changes
time for a workout.

Indeed there is a lot of "stuff" everywhere, and I can't imagine the dynamic nature of the manor is easy (windows cast light in the correct directions, so many rooms have windows I don't notice usually)

This is literally the CAD kernel trap, though. If I have to use the USD runtime as my application datamodel to be compatible with other DCCs, then I’m bound by the limitations of that runtime.

Claude can't help due to "unexpected constraints", last time I asked ChatGPT to do this particular donkey work (generating a sqlalchemy.orm datamodel from a table definition) it took hunting down weird bugs with it than it would have taken me to write. AI isn't coming for my job
