@koehntopp ist nicht so dass es nicht geht. Bei @mailbox_org kannst du Kontakte und Kalender unter Android mit DAVx5 via WebDAV Gedöns einbinden. Ich nutze den Fossify Kalender, bekomme zuverlässig Push-Nachricht für Termine.

wild that there is a generation accustomed to gmail being the email. while a shift to @tuta.com could be somewhat easy, having the experience integrated into custom apps, using @forwardemail.bsky.social or @mailbox.org with @thunderbird.net & @davx5.com might seem like black magic.

Pour Nextcloud, il n'y a rien de fourni par défaut, non.
Mais si tu demandes ça pour les contacts et calendrier (CardDAV et CalDAV), j'ai installé DAVx⁵ qui fait très bien l'affaire

posteo.de is for private accounts only. Its calendar and contact service (using Davx5) will underwhelm many, but its e-mail service is super reliable.

Übrigens kann man mit DAVx⁵ dann mittels Webdav-Sync den Ordner automatisch zu Hause mit der NAS oder dem lokalen Ordner syncen.
Webdav ist da ein schönes Protokoll. Das synct auch Fotos und so. Brauche kein Google Mist mehr zum Android backuppen.

I can only concur. For one it already dovetails so nicely with all the established open source android options, DAVx5, ICSx5. On top you get great preset open source programs with navigation, emails and notes. And of you already use a Nextcloud instance you basically now have a Nextcloud phone.

For contacts+calendar replacement on Android, DAVx5 works, but does require some technical awareness to keep running (OS upgrades may break things).
