Most new Amazon Echo devices are powered by Amazon's Linux-based Vega operating system. But older models shipped with a custom version of Android that's been locked down to make them feel more like an Amazon appliance than Android tablets. But now it's possible to unlock the bootloader and install custom ROMs on some older models, effectively turning these smart speakers and displays into fully-functional Android devices.

Eu usei Xiaomi por um longoooo tempo, mas troquei pq a Xiaomi tava tornando cada vez mais difícil usar CustomROM e eu gostava de Android puro (ou seja, toda a vez eu tirava a MIUI por conta, e instalava o que eu gostava)
