PSA: if your Prusa CoreONE shows you this and it isn’t because of ambient temp, take off the nextruder cover, unplug the thermistor (top left white plug) and reseat it. See if that fixes it; mine is behaving better now.

Christmas gift.

I modelled my childhood home in Blender, Printed out 6 of them, and gave them away to my brothers and parents as Christmas gifts this Christmas. They loved it.

Lot’s of great memories in that house.

3D model of my childhood home. I made it in Blender. Took me a couple of days to make. Bought some cheap led tea lights to illuminate the inside, I made a simple mechanism to lock it inside the house. Printet them on my Prusa core one. I was a bit short on time, so I could only get some cheap white PLA, it was a bit more purpleish in colour than what I wanted, but it’s fine. This picture is from a test print, the rest of them I could fit two houses on the printbed. The roof had a bit of overhang, so those got scaffolding to help print it, took me an hour to take it off. Did it very carefully, small details.

Started the day off with a thermistor error on a CoreONE, and the filament snapped in the extruder on a Mk4. Let’s hope the printers behave better for the rest of today.

from the looks of things its an entirely new gantry system, toolhead system, there are active moving parts for the nozzle lifting and dropping etc, i can see that. its like hwo the coreOne upgrade for the mk4s takes as long as it does

CoreOneでガントリーが固定になったのは良い改善やと思う。
Nextruderのベッドレベリングはヘッドにかかるテンションで行う方式なので、MK4シリーズではフィラメントのテンションで誤動作しまくりで酷かった。
