Both my images were obtained shooting at only 15” and I got far better results than with previous comets when I used 30 or 60”. Shorter times makes it easier to balance the comet’s angular speed with the image resolution, keeping the nucleus much more pinpoint instead of letting it drown in the tail.

Could go for some of those pale olive green digital screens that would light up like you would find on watches, radios, etc even into the 2000s. NASA/Space/We're going to Mars toys like those glow in the dark green plastic stars, planets & comets. Stuff like that would be fun.

What a fantastic time we had with Under the Trees! We went exploring in the woods, following a trail just like Rowan in the story we shared. Then we made some conker comets and had soooo much fun launching them in the playground! We could have done this all day!🤩 @uttoutdoorlearning.bsky.social

In November 1951 the Comet 1 was on high demand, and airlines were keen to have Comets in their fleets:
- Air France ordered 3 Comet 1A
- Royal Canadian Air Force ordered 2 Comet 1A, an increased all-up weight + greater fuel capacity

And the non gravitational acceleration is small and in line with other comets. No one who studies such things thinks any of what you’ve written is right. (& almost none of Avi’s work has passed peer review on this)

Right. In order:

Its speed is within the range we expect for ISOs. It’s not especially bright. Comets have anti tails. It’s within a few degrees of the ecliptic, true. Colours aren’t changing. We haven’t measured rotation. We see nickel in colours. All ISOs are hyperbolic. It was nowhere near WOW
