An overdue re-visit to #CéideFields in dismal weather today. Finally saw the revamped exhibition and it’s simply wonderful! High tech, low tech, a feast for the senses, inspiring and accessible. This is #heritageinterpretation done right.

A visit to #Carnac earlier this year, my ‘Big Stones’ paintings in my studio (inspired by #CeideFields in County Mayo)
Me in an orange coat, hair sticking up in the wind, shoulder bag with pink pom-poms, on a stony beach in Brittany Two large paintings (each 100x120cm) hanging on a white painted stone wall, either side of a rusty wood stove, ablaze The paintings are abstract impressions of large stone shapes, with marks scored through a mostly greenish blue surface, to red and orange under layers Man (my husband @malzers.bsky.social ) lying with crossed ankles on a grassy path, in ‘alignment’ with the stones of Carnac Parallel lines of the alignments of the Neolithic stones at Carnac in Brittany.
