Not for nothing, female restrooms are nothing to rave about. They can be akin to primate cages with sh^t and piss all over the stalls.
Personally, I don’t give a f@ck who uses the bathroom, as long as you wash your hands.
MRSA, ecoli, staph, cdiff, hepatitis…most folks need a handwashing tutorial.

#RFKJr
I guess laws & ordinances don’t apply to him.
The problem with an Elite like RFK JR is that he has great healthcare—-we pay for it.
But when Mary & Jimmy take their 3 kids, will you pay for their cdiff treatment? Sepsis?
He needs to address either his ignorance or the danger ASAP

i had cdiff earlier this year due to being over prescribed antibiotics. it is something that i would not wish on anyone i was traveling at the time visiting in-laws and had to rent a hotel room because it was so dangerous to be around them at their age.
I hope something comes of this because C.diff is just miserable. If you've known anyone whose had it or had it yourself or known people who've had to deal with people who have it, you know how bad it is. Reducing C.diff infections would save lives but also improve the quality of a lot of lives.
THIS IS HUGE! Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania have developed a vaccine against the bacterium Clostridioides difficile (C.diff), that in preclinical studies, protected against succumbing from infection AND prevented recurring cases. Let’s talk about that! 🧪🧵⬇️

New preprint from the lab online; following up on the report on #cdiff RT955 also identified outside UK in @eurosurveillance.org (which I posted about earlier), we now describe RT955 in Serbia: www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1...
Emerging Clostridioides difficile strains belonging to PCR ribotype 955 in Serbia are distinct from metronidazole resistant RT955 outbreak isolates from the UK
End 2023, the UK Health Security Agency sent an alert about a new hypervirulent Clostridioides difficile PCR ribotype, ribotype 955 (RT955), causing slowly progressing infection clusters in hospitals ...

It would take one person with a case of Cdiff to make a lot of those people very sick, very quickly. This is fucking ridiculous!

Good morning on a day where CPAC are showcasing far right speakers from the UK, such as Trusage, who should be in the bin. The good news is OH is improving. AF under control, CDiff reducing. Still on crutches from broken leg though, but he’s getting stronger!

I mean yeah I know people would like to believe Covid is the only virus out there, and that long Covid doesn't exist, but I am immunocompromised and I had 5 surgeries in two years and I had sepsis and cDiff and I would like to both live AND do social things on occasion.
So I mask.
So I mask.

I just added thyroid nodules to my bingo card on top of the rare brain disease, CDiff, and fibromyalgia, plus Long Covid! That’s almost a complete diagonal line! Woot woot! I just need to confirm my Visual snow syndrome and I’ll have BINGO with the free space! 🤪

Take home message: #Cdiff is everywhere! Importantly, some environmental samples are the same strains as previous human clinical isolates (and vice-versa for some ribotypes)
