It’s more of a general rule of where shipping came from/started in the first place. I don’t really see a lot of people actually follow it but some do. As for switches, that’s why I just do both RS and SR tags + whatever extra dynamic there is (Cannibalstatic for example) cause it’s a generalization

(1) LMFAO its literally just with rs fans. Usually top goes first in a ship name so Radiostatic is top Al x bottom Vox and the reverse with Staticradio being top Vox x bottom Al. But then we got Voxal as another, which I tend to only really see with Japanese artists, Cannibalstatic for human Al x -
