Fanfiction WIP, featuring a tender scene between Kaveh and Aventurine touching on the couch Teeth bit into the soft give of his earlobe, and this time Kaveh's whole body shuddered in pleasure. His ears were so sensitive, Haitham knew it well and used this knowledge to his advantage many a time. A curious tongue flicked over the empty piercing hole and lips closed on the lobe, sucking gently. A loud, shameful moan broke the silence around them, followed by a humm of approval. A very non-Haitham humm. This sobered Kaveh up in an instant. His eyes fluttered open only to see a blond mane of tousled hair, definitely not Haitham's. His brain made quick work piecing everything together, which was quite a feat with hot mouth sucking on his earlobe just like that, sending shivers down his body. How did he know..? he wondered, torn between rising panic and desires, burning bright in his body. Aventurine didn't seem to notice the sudden stiffness in his companion's body. His tongue moved up the shell of Kaveh's ear and looped behind, kissing another trail down towards the back of his neck, another very sensitive place Haitham certainly knew and Aventurine had no way of knowing. Teeth grazed the skin there, and Kaveh's hips ground forward once more, drawing another shameful moan out of him. It felt so good, how could he possibly push the man away? It wasn't Haitham, it wasn't even Veritas with his soft caresses and piercing eyes that made Kaveh feel like the centre of the universe, his needs and reactions on highest priority. It was the first time Aventurine showed initiative since the four of them became a thing… Kaveh couldn't possibly tell him to stop.

7 months, 185k words (will be more after revisions), buckets of tears shed and sleepless nights... It's done.

Chapters 20 AND 21 (splitting this monster for ease of reading) will go live on 29/01, the Chinese New Year.

In my writing, I keep overthinking small details, ones that largely go overlooked. Why the perfume idle? Is there something more to it? Let's see what I can come up with!

Same with gloves. A minor detail in Aventurine's design, but maybe I could give them more meaning? And I did :)

Yeah, I know, it was stupid and irresponsible, but I was young and convinced that was how BDSM worked." "It's the exact opposite," Veritas nearly growled, making the gambler chuckle. "I know that now. And today I went there to revoke my consent." "Did he hurt you?" He could hear hesitation on the other side, but then another quiet response came, whispered into the phone. No lies. "Yes. He roughened me up a little, quite funny after he told me I disgust him. Somehow my past didn't stop him from fucking me stupid multiple times over the years... Not today, hell no, in general," he added quickly. Another sigh followed, a tired one. "But it's over. This time for good. He'll never touch me again, and if he does, Diamond himself will hear about it, or I'll settle it myself." "Don't do anything that would put you in danger," Veritas said, and he understood his mistake immediately. Aventurine laughed, but this time his laughter seemed genuine and light-hearted. "Oh, doctor, you know me. Danger is my middle name. But I won't risk it if I don't have to. He's way too powerful for me to cross."
