While we're still waiting on the character coding redoes to wrap up, I went in and did some proactive work; wrapped up the graphics for the 4th planned stage. Will be sending these off to our stage coder while retrieving the loop points for the planned theme!

My main body of work thus far has been #CVSQFANGAME. Apart from stages and UI, I have been working on character sprites, which arguably take up all my time.

My main goal is to wrap up all pending character sprite sets so that I never work on FG sprites again. Here's my list of pending work:

254 frames into Hugo's sprite set. Instead of opting to palette change the color-reduced sprite set by Ethan_Lives, we decided to do some minor clean-up and editing in certain areas. Only his special attack and miscellaneous frames remain. #CVSQFANGAME #pixelart #SF3 #ThirdStrike #FinalFight

I realized I did not show a proper image file containing the corrected sprites of my final roster and bosses, so hopefully this does it.

Agrias' sprite sheet is now at the 80% mark. I have about 8 more animations to do before it's VFX.

A new tester build to display the current progress will hopefully be up before this month ends. Hoping to have the issues w/ character AI resolved by then. #CVSQFANGAME

In an attempt to ramp up spriting for #CVSQFANGAME, I decided to revisit the old "index spriting" method and hammer down where I went wrong.

Happy to report I finally figured out where my baby brain went wrong. Have this sprite of "Heisuke" from "Itadaki Street 2" as a result.

It just dawned on me that I'm actually close to dropping a playable demo of #CVSQFANGAME.

I've spent so many years of my life fumbling to have 1 playable game publically released (mostly fan games but y'know, still video games), being this close to doing so is wild to me.

I think I will stream sprite work for ##CVSQFANGAME in a month or two's time. By then all my documents should be moved over to Ontario-based ones, and I'll have gotten some distance and my workout regimen.

So in place of the old "WINNER!!!" sound byte that honestly wore off on me, I decided to wear my love of JoJo's Venture and "Heritage for the Future" even further on my sleeve, with the WIN animation being derived from there, along with a diamond edit to the text!
