Behind the tree, which still has bite marks from the caterpillar’s previous meal, the mantis holds her claws to her face in dismay. Dawn is beginning to tint the horizon red. It’s allllllllll about Sivir as far as he can see (though I hesitate a little to call him a villain). He has very good reasons to believe he’s actually the main character. I guess for him the book would be about desire, and he still wouldn’t be wrong.
