Apollyon works in the Hive around a lot of bees. One of the reasons why they’re allowed to is, intentional or not, Apollyon’s species mimics the scent of honey bees. Many in the Hive think they’re just a much larger type of bee.

Panel four shows Apollyon looking down at something. It has a grim, concerned expression on its face and is trembling. Their paw is still up to show the chain of their censer. The background is dark, and uneven lines run down it to further show Apollyon’s distress. Panels five shows that Apollyon is looking down at an earthworm that has emerged from the ground. It has no visible mouth and seems to be confused as it stares back up at Apollyon blankly.

Whatever the issue is we can resolve it without fighting.” Vi lets out a, “Hmph,” in response, and Leif’s silence is marked with an ellipsis. The background has turned lighter and has a greenish hue to it.
