Restoring bargaining rights is more than a win for federal workers —and it’s a reminder that organised labour still matters in defending democracy and basic fairness. Power isn’t given, it’s fought for

One truth and two lies.
True: most of our healthcare money goes to insurance companies.
Lies: 1. Giving the money to the people to then buy heath insurance changes nothing about that except making bargaining harder on consumers.
2. Legislation will be on his desk soon.

Legislation also needs to be passed to restore unions and bargaining rights for all workers in the United States. Many states have taken these rights away from workers many years ago.

OMG- "still allowed to join unions?" WTAF? Also, not many people "join" WITHOUT COLLECTIVE BARGAINING. 🙄

"State employees were still allowed to join unions under the law, but the unions could not formally negotiate on their behalf for better wages and working conditions."

I do not believe that there was a veto-proof majority.

DJT will not sign it as the abrogation of collective bargaining rights is Project 2025 doctrine.
In a HUGE win for federal workers, our essential services, and working people across the country, the bipartisan Protect America’s Workforce Act has passed the House!

The fight continues in the Senate. When we fight, we WIN!

1. You’re thinking of a union bargaining for disciplinary rights/progressive discipline.

2. Using a woman who gleefully hurled slurs at a customer probably isn’t your best test case for workers’ rights!
But I didn’t say she should be able to keep her job. I even said the opposite. I just said there should be a workers-involved process in firing workers and that we shouldn’t celebrate it or the employers doing it.

Anyone in a union who votes for a Republican is a fool. And any union leader who supports one should be removed from their position asap.

So that Tomb Raider trailer happened and I found out that I couldn't care less about the series anymore.

I'm kinda placing the blame on how the IP has been treated like a bargaining tool rather than a cornerstone of what made the PlayStation popular.
