Unfortunately, I tore the seat with the Brompton while attempting this. IndustrialMoto's out of business so I (might) not be able to get a replacement... but that's fine because I never liked this seat; it's not comfortable and too small.

MIlkcrate with a homemade seat might be the solution...
The tear on the seat. This could be from a mouse, but since there's a hold forming on the other side, I think the Brompton rubbed against it and started tearing it. The seat unbolted from the sidecar. Glad I got those Klein flip sockets so I don't have to go hunting around for my socket set. Tag on the seat: TUFFSIDE. Yeah, Tuffside my ass. The yellow Supercrate in the sidecar. It's a little too big. A normal small milkcrate would possibly do the trick.

Ein zusammengefaltetes, rot-weißes Brompton-Faltrad steht auf dem unter dem Griff nach hinten ausgeklappten Getränkekistenhalter eines Einkaufswagens und ist dort mit einem orangefarbenen Zurrgurt zwischen Anhängerkupplung an der Hinterachse und Taschenhaken vom Einkaufswagen gesichert. Im Einkaufswagen sieht mensch Getränke und Pasta. Ein zusammengefaltetes, rot-weißes Brompton-Faltrad steht vor einer niedrigen Mauer mit Metallgeländer darauf. Am Frontblock ist ein schwarzer Metallkorb befestigt. Darin sitzt eine passende, schwarze Stofftasche mit umlaufenden Reflektorband. Die Tasche ist im Korb mit einem kleinen, orangefarbenen Zurrgurt gesichert. Das Foto ist im Dunkeln mit Blitzlicht aufgenommen und viele Teile am Fahrrad reflektieren dieses: Das die Tasche umlaufende Band, daus Hauptrohr des Rahmens, Teile der Speichen, die Reifenwände und ein längliches Dreieck auf der kleinen, schwarzen Rahmentasche auf dem Hauptrohr naher Sattelstange. Ein rot-weißes Brompton-Faltrad lehnt an einer niedrigen Mauer mit Metallgeländer darauf. Am Frontblock ist ein schwarzer Metallkorb befestigt. Dropped the bakfiets at Splendid Cycles for a spa day. 💆🏽‍♀️ Took the Brompton to Clever Cycles for a mani-pedi. 💅🏼 Rode a BikeTown scooter to work. 🛴 Hopped on a work bike 🚲 to Gilden Pliers bike shop for parts. Getting as much biking in before the rain comes this weekend.
