18 September 1944 | On the second day of #RoshHashanah SS doctors conducted a selection in the prisoners' infirmaries. 330 Jews from men's quarantine camp BIIa & 65 Jewish boys from Kaunas in the men's prisoners' infirmary BIIf were selected.

In the Effektenlager, which was located near gas chamber and crematorium IV and the men’s hospital sector (BIIf), there were 30 wooden barracks. 25 of them were used as warehouses where things stolen from Jews deported to the camp for extermination were sorted, stored and disinfected.
