Today was my mother's birthday, the second year without her.

I've been irritable, tired, moody and sad in the week or two leading up to today. Grief takes many forms and even with decades of experience as a therapist I am not immune.

Funerals are not compulsory or legislated, so you can have a funeral before you die (say/hear all the good stuff!) which is a great #VAD option.

It's your funeral - literally - so you CAN control the playlist if you want to!!

International research shows that the best, least expensive, way to pay for your funeral is with a dedicated bank account that you contribute small amounts to over time. Pre-pays are often scam-based, ditto funeral insurance schemes.
