FWIW, popping out of my hole to say that we will be in Japan for several weeks starting very soon!

I'm not bringing my suit/head due to baggage constraints but we may try to visit Asakusa Wolf Bar and I will try to have some stickers on me in the event of random or not-so-random encounters!

The Sensoji in Asakusa. It's my third time here, and it gets crowded even more every time.

Going into the trip, I thought about maybe doing a kimono rental here, but I'm glad I didn't. There were so many people, and my body is EXHAUSTED (mostly my feet, actually) from all the walking.

@snares.bsky.social arranged for something special for us to do, and it starts with a gentle stroll from Asakusa, over to Tokyo Skytree, and then back to Asakusa again.

#Autumn truly is really pretty in #Tokyo.

This is a sketch of Asakusa Kaminarimon Gate drawn in my notebook. I used Art Multi 8 colored pencils (Pentel) and Pigma (Sakura Cray-Pas). This is a photo of the Kaminarimon Gate at Sensoji Temple in Asakusa and a sketch. Many tourists are taking photos in front of the Kaminarimon Gate.

The Asahi Beer building by Philippe Starck and the SkyTree. An area of town that, in the right light, I find it hard to stop taking photos of. Especially with a long lens. Both of these were made on the Hasselblad with the C250mm f/5.6
