Examples of reducing risk might look like setting clear boundaries and screening clients when possible. It can also include using protection to reduce the risk of STIs, and keep trusted contacts informed about your location or having check-ins. [logo, text only: The Alex Project] ----- ‣ Make use of tech and your support networks Screen clients when possible (via referrals, chat, or ID). Use a work phone or alias email for communications. Make use of apps like clienteye and Hollieguard and NUM checker. Work in familiar or secure environments. Let someone you trust know your plans if possible (check-in system). If you are concerned a client may pose a risk to you, confide in someone you trust or seek help from an organisation like the ALEX Project.
