Our Aetna/SilverScript medicare drug supplement insurance has doubled for 2026. We've already received the notices. For two of us, it's an additional $100 per month. So, we start cutting back on whatever we can to make up for that additional cost. I'll try find cheaper but that's a joke just now.

And to rub salt in my wounds, my Medicare Part D premium from Aetna just doubled. Thank you, Doctor Oz.
If you don’t already know, MEDICARE notified us of the increase in cost. Remember that cost of living increase? That will be eaten up + for the increase

Or pay $2000 a month for a service you may or may not use…it’s a drag on the economy because those $ could go to purchasing a house, car, college or anything other than pump up the stock price so the AETNA CEO can get paid $40 million a year!

Since the ACA is in the news because of the tax credits, let me just say how incoherent the use of "Obamacare" is.
There are no "Obamacare" plans! That makes no sense! That's Aetna with a subsidy you bought in a clunky marketplace! We should have had a public option or -- better -- single payer!

No, before ACA, my husband & I were rejected for coverage by UHC, Humana, Cigna, Aetna, etc. They refused to write policies for either of us. T1 diabetic (him) & I was refused for having a 1st degree relative with colon polyps. I had not even had a colonoscopy yet. No insurance at any price.

I have a high deductible health plan that doesnt cover my most expensive prescription. It basically is a catastrophic plan; my employer is paying Aetna for very little coverage. If it gets any worse, my employer would be paying Aetna for literally nothing.

So my wife just called me because someone told her that at the end of the month our health insurance provider (Aetna) "wasn't going to be a thing anymore" at the end of the month and I'm not entirely sure how to respond to that.

Had a claim denied by Aetna but joke’s on them because I’m a health economist on furlough. Bet they’ve never seen an appeal with a “methods” section before.

I guess that’s why companies like Aetna bought CVS and I think some are buying hospitals. They can control prices so they get to keep as much money as possible. And I’m sure raise the rates as they figure out better ways to raise the costs.

As a doctor, I definitely had an advantage arguing my case (not Aetna). I eventually won, after a year of many appeal letters and phone calls. The whole time, though, I felt so guilty because the average patient couldn't do what I did.

Hilariously, I heard a CVS regional manager going off at pharmacy managers for asking for more staff, stating that because of reimbursement rates, there is not enough money.

Aetna just approved my medicine. A little public attention every now and then does help, y'all.
I ain't gonna lie, I was stressed out. Now I can work on getting my $18,100 back.

I got the rather depressing news, and just received a notice from Aetna that our healthcare premiums will jump from $40 to $3200. We can’t afford that. I have no idea what we will do.
Meanwhile, Trump just bailed out Argentina for 40 billion, is building a $200 million ballroom, and a monument.

The other thing to note about the revamped analysis is that the benchmark Silver plan for Sacramento will no longer be from Aetna, which is dropping out of the entire ACA market nationally.
Instead, it will be a Kaiser Silver HMO next year. 5/

My favorite Bible story is the one where Jesus asks the five thousand if they finished job training before feeding them.
The other is when He asked the townspeople if they had Aetna or Blue Cross before healing them to see if He was in network.
After all, America is a Christian nation…right?
