I think you’ll agree 🤓 Make no mistake: there are many of the superficial, signifying elements of narrative and storytelling present in these trailers, but none of the nuts and bolts. What will they be doing? What’s their struggle? Why should any of them showing back up matter to me? I think Avengers: Doomsday projects to be the most costly, calamitous mistake in major-market fiction in the last hundred years, and I kind of can’t wait to see how catastrophic this misstep is.
